WHEN IS THE AUCTION HELD ?
Every Friday from 9.30 am until about 4.00 pm.
WHEN CAN I BRING IN MY GOODS ?
Every Monday from 7:00am until 4.00 pm. There is a loading zone along Camberwell Road for your convenience. Please note that it is best to get here early! If you cannot bring your items in on Monday please call us. We may be able to accept them on either Tuesday or Wednesday provided we have room. We will accept smaller items such as jewellery, porcelain, and paintings from Monday to Thursday.
HOW MUCH IS YOUNG’S COMMISSION ?
16% (including GST) of the price the goods realise at Auction, with a minimum of $10 per lot. We also charge $5 per lot, per week, for unsold items that are sold in the next auction. We will negotiate our fee for single-owner collections with a total value of over $20 000. Please call our office to discuss this further if your goods require special attention.
CAN YOUNG’S ARRANGE FOR MY GOODS TO BE PICKED UP ?
Yes! We have a reliable removalist that we can recommend. Just phone us and we will arrange pick up and delivery for you. Pick-up days are from Monday through to Thursday. A reasonable hourly rate is charged and this fee is deducted from the sale of goods. We use C&R Removals, who charge $99 per hour for two men. For small jobs we can suggest other couriers with one man, so that the hourly rate is cheaper.
CAN YOUNG’S ADVISE ME ABOUT SETTING RESERVES ?
Yes! Young’s can advise you on reserves taking into consideration your item’s market value.
